My Story
Hi I'm Rodney Golden. I'm your Hoover Adventure Boot Camp Owner/Instructor. I have been in the fitness industry for nearly 10 years and I love helping people get results but the best feeling is seeing people change their lives thru fitness.
For me, it all started when I played sports as a kid (and I still play competitive flag football at age 30.) Back then, I was never the biggest, the fastest or the strongest, but I had determination, a good work ethic and passion. Those qualities helped me use fitness and conditioning to make me a much better athlete. That was 20 years ago!
Today, I use fitness for many reasons. For starters, I just feel better. I love feeling energetic. I enjoy a boosted self-confidence and having a fit lifestyle gives me purpose and grounding when this world is changing so fast.
So, I started training clients for the first time in 2001 in a private training studio environment. I loved my new career. I then quickly moved into management and then quickly into ownership where I owned to private training studios in Hoover. You may already know me from all the letters I used to mail out!!! :)
Although I liked the ownership lifestyle, I become frustrated with the training modalities confined to a studio. I wanted more for my clients. Better results. Faster results. A fun environment. Most of all something to offer as an alterative to HIGH personal training cost.
That's when I opened my Hoover Adventure Boot Camp in 2008. Ever since, I have been hooked on this fitness model that has enriched so many lives not just in Hoover, Alabama but around the world! If there is one thing you should know about me...is that I work hard for you to have a BLAST and get QUICK results at the same time!
On a more personal note. I am now older and wiser. I have fun in life and enjoy close relationships. One of which is my beautiful, smart, adored by many,loving and enchanting-almost 5 year old daughter, Lynleigh. The love of my life. I do hope you let me be the one to help you in the quest to reach all your fitness goals in this lifetime. Welcome to Hoover Adventure Boot Camp!
